You'd think that being the daughter of TV "Moviestar" icon, Tina Louise, and cutting edge 60's TV talk-show host Les Crane would make this girl want to take her turn in front of the camera as well. But, Caprice, being very much the Webster's definition of her name, has gone in every other direction. She founded her own record label, wrote and produced for MTV, currently writes feature films, and now has created her own jewelry line aptly called, "Caprice". Amongst friends she's always been the leader of the fashion pack, wearing grunge before the grunge movement, vintage before the vintage craze, bohemian before the 70's comeback and through it all she's always managed to maintain her own unique style. Accessories have always played a huge part in her wardrobe, and being the entrepreneur that she is, it makes sense that she'd try her hand at jewelry. Why not? Her pieces are like a precious heirloom you'd find in grandma's attic but with a present day twist. No two pieces are alike as every one is hand-made and one of-a-kind. Fashioned from vintage glass beads and crystals, semi-precious stones, and antique pendants ranging from ultra religious (18th century religious medallions, enameled crosses, Buddha's, star of David) to hearts, lockets, and various unique pendants, every piece comes with a history, and it's own story! Caprice has tried and succeeded to create a line that will look equally as appropriate with a white T-shirt and jeans as with a couture gown strolling down the red carpet. (Caprice usually opts for the T-shirt and jeans). Be careful though. After your first purchase of Caprice jewelry, you could develop an addiction!
